Music Off!

~In Finland, taxi drivers must pay royalties if they play music in the car while a customer is sitting.

This law is very unfair, does it really matter that much to play music? Why wouldn't you want to listen to music in a taxi. I'd rather listen to music then talk to the taxi driver, would'nt you? Why is it such a big deal that you have to involve a fee, why can't they just let it be!

Would you listen to music, and pay a fine?

Poem About Insane Rules!

So much depends upon a blue uniform on a grey day,
So much depends upon the distracting alarms and the distorted waves.

~Kay.

So much depends upon who you are and where you are standing
So much depends upon the turn you take in the intersection of life.

Home By Nine.

~In South Africa, during apartheid, a siren would be sound at 9:00 PM at that time coloured people would have to be inside.

This went on in the 1900's and got worse around the 1960's. White's tried to rule over coloured people. Slavery had already ended but Black's were still not equal in America and also happened in a lot of other places including South Africa. We  think that slavery in general is very wrong and should have never happened. Everyone in the world is equal, everyone should have equal and free rights in this world.

Would you listen to this rule or would you stand up for what is right?!

Get Your License.

~In Israel, you must have a license to ride your bicycle.

This is crazy, you should be able to ride your bike without a license because it won't do any harm. Also, it's very eco friendly to ride your bike places instead of driving a car. A bike doesn't pollute the air like a car does.

Would you get a license or would you just not ride your bike?

Possible 25 Years In Prison From Cutting Down A Cactus.

~In Arizona in the U.S.A if you cut down a cactus there is a possible 25 years of prison.

I think this a law to help save all the cactus's from being cut down which is super good to help the enviroment! But the possible 25 years in prison seems way too long. If the law is there for the protection for cactus's thats awsome that they care that they want to save them from being cut down, but the possible time in prison seems really crazy long!

Do you think thats a really long time or what!?!?!

No Removing Bandages In Public!

~ In Canada it is illegal for citizens to publicly remove bandages.

Wow really!!! I think that this law is odd, why would people care about something like that. Really this sounds like a point less law, what really is the point of this law, that it is trying to get across. What harm would it bring, if you broke the law, probably no harm at all.

What Do You Think Of This Law?

No Light Bulb Changing.

~In Australia, you have to hire a licensed electrician to chance your light bulb.

This is very insane law because you should be able to do a simple thing like changeing your OWN light bulb. You shouldn't have to hire someone to change your light bulb for you if you already know how to. Also if you don't have a lot of money, it would be hard to pay the licensed electrician.

Would you hire someone to change your light bulb or break the law?
